electronic speed sensor swap

I have a JDM obd0 b16a converted to obd1. with a y1 non lsd tranny. it came with a mechanical speedo. The car i put it into needs the electronic speed sensor. I am not using the stock dash from any honda/acura but a custom LCD. Can I swap an electronic speed sensor form another tranny in there? if so, which from what car?

I don't believe you can as they run diffidently. The mechanical one would probably have a different end on it, now if they look the same then I'd say f*** it and go for it. Just my 2 cents tho

bought one from ebay and the bolt doesnt line up. but I dont know if the one I bought should have fit. That is why I am hoping someone here has done that swap and could lead me to which ESS I need to swap in.
