Okay you guys. New to the forums. But Ima getting a b16a2 head with type r internals from a buddy off mine and Ima thinking about dealing it into my 94 Gsr block. I hear it fits and everything but. Taft the I take mainfold doesn't. And I was wondering if my dc2 ceramic header will fit into the b16 head? And what all would I have to do? Thanks you guys

the exhaust will fit, unless it's a special b16 one with low clearance on the oil pan as the b16 is physically shorter by a tick but the bolt pattern is the same. The intake won't work though, not right bolt pattern. just pick up a skunk2 or something for the b16.

that being said does that mean I can just put the head on? Or will I have to do the timing and all Taft good stuff again? Kinda have a low budget and I heard different things I had to do from different people.

pretty much... belt goes with the block/water pump gear. so you'll keep the gsr belt since the block and pump are gsr.

you're going to want to tune it though. if you're running a p72 ecu (gsr) you're going to throw the IAB code, and the fueling will be a bit off due to different compression, camp profiles, etc.
