People steal...Honda bumpers?

Just saw this posted on a neighborhood fb. Didn't even know this was a thing. No details on the model or anything.

That was my first thought. But that's a lot of work to do out in an open area. Thieves suck.

As far as I can remember it's a lot faster to get the bumper off than a set of wheels. Especially if the car is unlocked and you can pop the hood.

Thieves should be sterilized. Punishment, retribution, and population control. No, this isn't a vigilante message, just a sentiment of my feelings on the subject!

Very easy to remove them.

My trailblazer was tapped in the rear a few weeks back. Very minor mark but it's on plastic that can't be fixed. $750 is the cost to get it fixed.

Not surprised. My friend was driving her brother's '08 WRX for a while(lived in apts just off campus), and someone tried to steal something off the front of the car(not sure if it was fogs or the whole front bumper, but someone obviously tampered with it). She switched back to driving her Civic after that. I've also seen an ECU stolen out of a Civic while the owner was looking for parts at the junkyard, etc.

Parking lot is where the best selection of parts is. They almost always work.
