Cool man. nationals are so far away and from what i heard, it's not friendly competition. I remember chatting it up with b18c5rodney back in the day when i was looking at his wide fenders and he was like everyone cheats lol
yes, well, everyone used to cheat. now they tear the cars apart in the paddock... my car is more on the lower end of DSP, i don't even have full bolt ons.
Aaaaand just put a deposit down to ensure my spot in the development of the ORIC v2 . An aftermarket IC that fits in the original spot but is much thicker and more efficient! Now just need to pick up a used synapse DV and cold pipe and I'm done for "the Best" bolt ons! Strongly considering an ORTDE (oem replacement turbo downpipe elbow) to replace the cast one but I'm not 100% sure I want to fuck with those bolts. If one snaps the whole turbo and manifold have to come out to get it fixed.
Yes it is. Finned solid hot pipe. It sits right in the airflow from under the car and behind the radiator. Logs show full boost coming on a few hundred rpms quicker and holding longer before dropping off. Also the added benefit that the IATs move around a lot less too. Can't wait to see how well this all works at TSMP end of April $150 for 60 minutes if you guys want to join us.
Topping out at 107 at the breaking zone end of straight. Thes efficiencies should help increase that speed without altering the ECU and factory boost levels.
picked up a mesh front grill and rear diffuser extension yesterday. grill will be painted gloss black around the hexagon edges and the rear diffuser will be cleanly cut around my trailer hitch then painted orange like my car.
also working on a plan for either a custom crash bar, or modifying the one on the car for a cleaner look / better airflow.
