Hey im new to the site, but not to hondas. Love the info here was wondering if you could point me in the right direction? I own a 96 integra with an ls/vtec and recently got my hands on a h22. Im looking to turbo it mostly daily driven. My goal is to break 300hp, with or without internals. Im new to the h22 and have been told stock can handle 8-10 psi daily. My question is what setup im gonna need for this goal? I have no reservations on sleeving, but mind you i live in Reading, Pa and theres no local shops to have my block sleeved.

Are you set on turboing the h22? I'd feel more comfortable shooting for the 300whp with the ls/vtec rather than the h22 if dealing with a stock block. Reason being, the fmr sleeves in the h22 are rather weak, whereas the b series block is fine at 300whp. Parts are also cheaper for the b series as well.

well to be honest ive always had a thing for the h22, and its something ive wanted to build for a good while. ls/vtec is cool and all but if im gonna drop some dough id rather do it on the h22. my goal is to break 300hp preferably with a turbo. as i stated i realized this will require sleeving the block i just wanna know what turbo/adds im gonna need to achieve this goal. this isnt gonna be a race car, just a fast daily driver and a personal satisfaction build.

breaking 300whp on an h22 with a stout bottom end shouldnt be difficult. considering the engine is already close to 200crank hp, you dont really have that far to go

you could easily get there with a pieced together kit, id recommend something like this:
tubular turbo mani (ebay if you cant afford something nice
garrett 60 trim t3/t4 (quick spooling on your h and decent power all the way till shift pts)
2.5" downpipe and 2.5" exhaust
bov of your choice (i recommend synapse synchronic)
TiAL sport or synapse wastegate if you can afford it
ebay intercooler and piping
fastturbo oil line setup (or you can go to a local shop and have something made
tap the stock pan
not sure on the size of the injector youre going to need, probably some 750's to give you some room to grow
walbro 255 fuel pump
chipped ecu
everything else stock and have that bitch tuned. should get you there

awhat he said^^^^^^^ also i have an h22a that is about 400+ whp. i have a stock top end and am not sleeved. you can get mahle h22 forged low comp. pistons. you can run these without sleeving. see the h22 block is aluminum.so you cant run forged pistons. but with the mahle h22 pistons you can they have a coating on them. 300whp will not be hard to reach if you do it right.

I think I'm gonna go safe and have it sleeved to start (I've know how it is intending on basic build and ends up being crazy). Anyone know a good machine shop on the east coast? I'd like to keep the cost below $1k assuming I'm providing the parts.

Also has anyone had experience with hasport mounts? I've heard for the h series that hasport is the way to go due to the fact that they've altered the location for firewall clearance and tilted the motor to help lift the bottom another inch. Any truth to this?

Hasport mounts are the way to go!! they are really good. And also depends on what your swapping the h series in. Like my h swapped civic they are great and in my buddies h swapped integra.
