Very Funny LoL!!!

Anyway. Tomorrow night I'm going to change my fittings and my tuner should have the chips by then and at that point we will be able to move on to the next phase in the project.

Tuning.

I'm confused.

What are all the problems?

What problems have been solved?

I've looked into it. The only sensor I need is the IAT on the manifold.

I dont need the 02 sensors

Also I got a hookup on a complete LS transmission for $60

I'm ganna buy for parts and get the LS 5th gear from it and drop it in my gsr

you 100% need the O2 sensors for the ECU to correctly make adjustments you also need a wideband for your turbo setup
I agree. It's a sensor that reads air/fuel ratio. Needed for tuning. You only need one (on downpipe of header)

ok let me make this clear again for the at least 10th time in this thread EVERY SINGLE SENSOR ON YOUR ENGINE IS NEEDED TO RUN CORRECTLY AND THE ECU TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS ! and 110% if turbocharged "NORMAL OPERATION" you need a Wideband ( make sure you arent leaning out even if tuned/not tuned doesnt matter ) - Oil pressure gauge (if the stock oil light comes on its too late) - and a boost gauge, again not in bold this time to read easier ... Every Single Sensor On Your Engine Is Needed To Tune It Correctly and in Normal Operation to Run Correctly And Ecu Make Adjustments.... if you take it to a tuner without fixing those issues and with the CEL Light ton and stuff still unplugged they are going to say sorry bud bring it back when its fixed

I dont know what to do.

We finally got it to start. But it wont idle right.

It revs high and low over and over and i know iacv is good bcuz its the same 1 i ran with when i was n/a.

However its throwing a code.

I will add the pic.

Maybe you guys can give me some suggestions on things to try.

We adjusted the idle screw and throttle screws whatever no luck. Blocked off all vacuum leaks i could find no luck

And we calibrated the tps

No lucks so far

Im running a basemap from an lsvtec 7psi

Stock map sensor, stock tps and stock throttke body at the moment.

Hope that info helps.

you probably have some plug crossed a few of them are the same pin/plug , also again 110% 02 is needed and wideband also if you havent got the point yet :D if wiring is fine and its throwing the tps code id try replacing it countless times ive taken a part off during a build just to put it back on and be dead, it happens

Ok GREAT NEWS!!!!!

MYSTERY SOLVED!!!!

So I had a spare single cam iacv

I bolted that on and made a HUGE difference.

So when I took the other 1 off it didn't work properly for some reason when I bolted it back on.

So like you said parts die randomly.

Now the other mystery.

I had bought a new ebay plug to replace the one on my harness bcuz I have an obd2 harness.

But I have to use an ob1 iat sensor.

So I replaced the it with the new ebay one.

Well when I did that it fried those 2 ecus I told you about.

I double checked the wiring and the ebay plug is wired BACKWARDS!!!

I took the sensor off tonight and its fried and melted just like the ecu.

So that takes care of the wiring issue.

I have since purchased a good p28 and got a good basemap.

Tomorrow I'm going to the parts store to pick up a new sensor.

And then Im going to swap the wires on the plug and then wire everything up and then I should be able to drive it safely.

So a couple more days and I should be good to go to go tune the car.

I am finally almost done.

I tell you 1 thing I have learned a shit tone on this project.

Can't wait to tune and drive the car.
