EASY B series Transmission question

I have a Y1 transmission. will the same driveshafts/mid shaft fit I swap to a later transmission (thinking hydraulic LSD)

yes - axles and intermediate shaft will work - you will need to change the seal in the transmission on the driver's side for the intermediate shaft
