Ok big fucking wrench thrown into plans....... like what in the actual fuck, Shop doing the body work and fabrication is closing the doors by the end of next month... I havent paid for fabrication yet but ive paid for the full amount on body/paint, well its looking like by the end of next month im going to have a primer grey civic in my garage ready for paint and no engine in it... but on the bright side theres lots of stuff I can be doing ex: installing new brakes/suspension/interior/wiring ... but blows losing money and have to come out if pocket to find another painter and fabricator for the swap

How are you losing money, get your money back that they owe you.

the guy doesnt have it... hes closing shop and filing bankruptcy and waited till two week beforehand to tell me ... I'm probably going to get stiffed on the tools I sold the shop on a credit acct I will get charged back on also and I legally can't go after them until they go 30 days behind it's a big shitty situation the techs left on wens from not getting paid , I havent been fucked yet but the bridge is coming soon they have to be out before the 10th and my car is in same condition as last pictured, he saysss it will be primered and stuff brought to my house, I paid them 5,550 which I have proof of what should I do ? also he is incorporated it would be sueing the shop and that can only get its value well if its bankrupt... its a tread lightly situation too because I also have to try and not ruin the snap on relationship and deff get bent on the large account

Wow, sorry to hear of the shop closing. How 'bout a kind of Mechanics lien on the place?
I'm sure that Snap-On has gone through this at some point, Can they advise?
I'd AT LEAST get a consult from a Business law firm (with more than 7-10 lawyers..)
Or get 'knuckles and Rico' to pay a visit and or send him pics of his kids at school or playing in his front yard..
Just sayin. to get your tools back

Another thing.. When I had mine and doing the 4x100 swaps, I was looking into modding the rear and wanted to get a whole rear suspension from a 85-91? Prelude (maybe 84-87.. can't remember) BUT, where that big, long blocky looking support is behind the spare tire under the trunk, you can cut down and weld in the prelude support and have 'almost' instant rear discs, MUCH stronger spring/strut assy, long lower control arms and a wide array of rear discs (vented, drilled etc..) and the rear radius rods might need to be shortened etc.. But with those flares, You might not need to shorten the width. (since you said fabbing/welding is FUN)
Don't forget to get the extended/hardened wheel studs.
The 84-87 brake booster/master is a 'bolt in' too! even with it over on the pass side.
What are you doing about the front hubs to later axles? If you can't find the ED wagon knuckles, you can use the 80-83 knuckles but the geometry can get "exciting" with bump-steer..
Check the front cross-member for rust when you unbolt it. (I think I have some extras.)
What was done for the shifter bushing in the floor? There's only two little, tiny 5mm screws holding the rubber bushing in that pretty much falls apart when you unbolt the shifter.. (you'll see...)
Pull the tank and check the sending unit.. If its' all rusty you may never find another :(
You can pm me if you want to talk, I'll try and remember what the heck I used to do for these. I have a whole 77 1200 that I cut up and stacked in my shop on the shelves.

Just traded my 78 trunk model for a '60 Hydrodyne ski boat last year.. Had a stroker built up for it, 1500 pistons, 1300ej crank, eb3 head ported, Reground cam etc.. Shoulda maybe kept it.

You DID know that the 1200 is about 3-4" shorter than the cvcc in the engine bay didja?
That might give you fits getting that motor in with that intake..
OR, ITB's?
