Dustin should be done by Wed for sure this coming. He had to finish up some other cars that have been waiting on me because my car needed so much work.

But anyways. Once he's done I have to get the aligned and found an excellent guy in jax that aligns sports cars ect... Dustin uses him.

But I need camber kits. The guy that does the alignment told me to purchase this:

Skunk2 Pro Series FRONT & Blox REAR Camber Kit Combo HONDA CIVIC 96-00 EK

Item number 111933398442 on ebay.

He said it offers the most adjustability, quality, and ride performance.

Just wanted to know if anyone has used this setup before.

And on a side note, I currently have ground control adjustable coil overs with skunk2 pro series struts. But no camber kit.

And I have good tires with 95% tread on all four all are in great condition so I didn't want to ruin my tires plus I want to drive straight down the road not fighting a bad alignment when I'm going to have over 300whp lol....

skunk 2 kit will be fine, and yes pretty much all of us have had adjustable camber kits on our cars its part of lowering it correctly

The skunk2 parts I know are good.

I was more curious about the blox rear camber kit

Anyway. Small update today.

My head light clips came in and I dropped them off at Dustins shop.

He has the axles in and he has my brake kit installed and he installed my skunk2 short shifter and knob.

All he has left to do is install my skunk2 cam plug, valve cover gasket kit, front and rear strut tower bars, and my skunk2 vtec cover and vtec soleniod housing.

Oh and the front and rear camber kits and align it.

And thats it.

Then he's going to tune out the rest of the "bugs" on the basemap and get it ready for the dyno

I can't believe I'm almost there.

Heres a couple pics

One pic is the headlight clips and the other is of the brake kit installed and he painted my calipers for me. Looks good.

Ok so I have some good news and some bad news unfortunately.

Good news is that everything that needed fixing and replaced and all my parts bolted on are finally on and finished.

Bad news is that the injectors I have are total garbage, however I only paid $100 for them.(they are 550cc smart fire injectors, total garbage come to findout)

So now I have to shell out another $410.00 for some FIC 1000cc injectors but they are high quality injectors and should be good up to about 485whp-500whp with no problems so I should be able to grow with them for a while.

I am ordering those tomorrow and then paying Dustin and thats it we should be ready to tune the car once those injectors come in.

So I say we should have a dyno time set for next week with no problem.

Wish us luck everyone.

Should be on the road very very soon.

Injectors are ordered.

Once those come in Dustin is going to finish tweeking the basemap and get it ready to be tuned so once we take it to the dyno all we have to do is tune it.

All the bugs will already be worked out of it.

But we should still be on for next week.

So the injectors are in. He is still tweeking the basemap.

But all the sudden the petcock started leaking on my brand new skunk2 radiator smh.

I'm starting to think my car is cursed.

Smh smh smh

As long as the radiator isnt cracked you should be able to seal the petcock with some gasket maker. If you need to drain it again just disconnect the lower hose.

I found out its just the o-ring that seals the petcock plug that started leaking. So should be a simple fix.

But yes we have plans to dyno tune the car Thursday.

The new injectors are responding to the adjustments being made on the ecu. So far so good with that.

The tune is looking good. Car should be ready to go by tomorrow.

But I gatta take it to my buddy Jason. He is a specialist when it comes to alignments.

He's installing my front and rear camber kit and aligning my car tomorrow night.

Everybody thats anybody that has any kind of high sports car or project cars takes it to Jason. Thats who Dustin uses too.

So Tomorrow night car should be ready to go for Thursday.

Were very close everyone. Hopefully Thursday night I will be sharing a video of the dyno session.

Yes we are using VR1 20-50 racing oil.

The oil pressure is running at 27psi after warm up now.

Doesn't solve the issue with the bearings but hopefully it will all stay together.

We are putting the front and rear camber kits on tonight and doing the alignment.

That way everything is done and ready for the dyno.

Dustin is fixing the petcock o-ring and making a couple more minor adjustments to the basemap so I can drive to Jason's and have the suspension work done.

But you are right. I am a long ways from being "Completely Done"

But this is a major first step in the process.

All of the major issues have been fixed, repaired, or replaced.

My only concern at this point is the bov.
I hope it doesn't leak and operates properly. I have the ebay 1 on still.

I've been thinking about buying the Turbo XS RFL bov. Thats the one I want.

Ok couple more updates.

So Dustin has been working tirelessly the past 2 days prepping the car for the Dyno tomorrow.

The petcock o ring started leaking. And after he repaired that then out of no where the car started overheating.he fixed that and got that repaired and then all the sudden the oil return line from the turbo to the oil pan started leaking.

So he says he should have ready and prepped and finished by tomorrow morning.

So almost ready.

But I have a question.

As you know its a B20Vtec Turbo

I have 2.5 inch turbo piping gigantic intercooler that we added, 3 inch exhaust, 70mm throttle body, skunk2 pro series intake manifold, 1000cc injectors, golden eagle fuel rail, ss braided fuel lines with aeromotive fpr and aeromotive fuel pressure gauge, 255 walboro fuel pump, 57 trim 63 ar turbonetics turbo, solid motor mounts and full race traction bar.

And is tuned on hondata s300 v3 with bluetooth datalogging.

Do you think we will be able to hit 380whp+ or be somewhere close to it when we dyno it tomorrow?

We are running 11psi of boost as well.

What do you think?

I'm curious to see your answers and also how close everyone is once we have the numbers.

Theres no rod knock or anything. Motor sounds and runs very strong.

But I'm not too worried about it because I have a backup motor anyways.

I only need it to last 4-5 months til I get the rest of the parts bought for my sleeved gsr

we arent trying to be debbie downer, he had you sign a form for a reason if you have worn bearings its literally a ticking time bomb ready to stack a bearing or sling a rod, you can literally drop the pan and cradle and change the bearings with motor in the car
