Super bummed. I've got the chris cornell on shuffle this am on spotify. I hope it wasn't suicide. It can totally wreck families. Definitely going to leave a huge void for his family.

Man. That's rough. So talented. While I write this, sure enough I get "say hello 2 heaven" on the playlist.

We're running out of 90s Seattle vocalists... but this is seriously sad. As a musician and songwriter, observing his ability to fuse styles together and make it work solely off the raw talent behind his vocals is inspiring. I was late to the whole grunge party, being born in '96 but I remember "finding out" about Soundgarden playing "Black Hole Sun" in Guitar Hero 3 in my early middleschool years and then falling in love with Audioslave as both a Chris Cornell and Tom Morello fan.

We lost a great one.

He was definitely one of the best singers out of the 90s. He will be missed.
