This is where im at with it. Shouldn't be to hard. Just wondering if I should leave the o2 disconnected after install, (where u disconnect it for replacement) until I get it tuned. I don't want to confuse the ecu or something, if it's programmed for open loop.
But here's my plan, should work right?

Got the CEL working. Posting a video to make sure I didn't get the codes wrong. I'm getting. 10. 17. 22. But no o2 sensor codes. 10- hopefully just buy a new IAT sensor. 17- vss, yea my speedo doesn't work. 22- vtec pressure switch? My vtec works I'm almost definitely sure. As soon as I fix these lights, it's off to the Tuner.

1) am I reading the codes right?
2) what could be the vtec issue?

im glad you made it to the forum man, I honestly thought this was going to be another "my shit doesnt run what do I do" threads, CEL Working is making progress ! the tune probably has the o2 code bypassed and was probably setup to be running a wideband if soo if I had to GUESS , VSS can make car do some weird stuff, and you should be able to hear vtec crossover but its also oil pressure based and can have a dirty screen,IAT can aslo make the car do some weird stuff if bad , glad making progress with it, the cars going to feel ALOT more peppy when its running correctly

I know man, something went right! I unplugged the neg. Terminal for a minute or so. Hoping to reset cel. Drove it maybe 20 mins. Rechecked light. Code 22 hasn't come back yet. But I still have the 10 and 17. Guess I'll replace IAT. And see if that light goes away. I appreciate the support, and having someone double check my work always relieves stress.

In terms of the codes, i'd check connections they did in their efforts to get things "tucked" first.

Does it look a little hacked up on wires coming into ECU plugs?

Solder for this harness tuck connections or crimped connectors? Give them slight tugs and check the connections.

Clean the VTEC oil screen and inspect rubber.

The harness doesn't looked chopped up. The only solder or repairs i can see are on the connector for the distributor.

And heres the ecu in the passengers floorboard. Yea it needs to be cleaned and organized.

Do y'all think the VSS will be the same for GSR and LS transmission. I'm not 100% which I have yet.

When I'm unsure of compatibility between different engines and such, I go to an online parts store and check part numbers for different motors. If they're the same exact number, I do it. Otherwise, I don't.

I go to hondapartsunlimited.com

This should be the part number below. Copy and paste to a search engine and you'll see. Denso product. Not as cheap as I thought. Seems to fit all 94-01 Integra trims. So, if you got one off an LS to try, you should be good to go. Pull fuse for ECU (for 15sec) after you change sensors (reset ECU). Then start up and see if VSS code went away.

EDIT: Clean the VTEC screen before you try to reset ECU and test VSS. Get that test out of the way at the same time. You may need to buy a new screen and gasket kit.

I didn't watch the whole youtube video but you can check it out. It's D-series but he talks about some stuff you should see. You can skip to 4:00 or so if you want.
