If this swap is done could a detailed write up be posted. If not could some light be shown onto wiring, axels and shift linkage aspects of the swap. I have a totaled '07 civic ex and a '98 civic hatchback
what info are you looking for ?

Points for being unique, that's for sure. The cluster swap was a nice touch, I respect that.

I think it would be cool if you could find a donor car for a good price, im sure it would be stupid reliable and get wicked mpgs (cars prob 1000lbs lighter), im sure wiring wouldnt be fun I couldnt find anyone making a harness for it yet

Danjerusmoke. Holy sh!t that's an R18 in there. Wtf? Good job. I have an r18 in my 08 civic. Slow as balls. But heard it's a great application for a turbo setup. Low compression and all.
I know this is a few months late. Bump

The car makes 186 hp / 162 tq @ 6300 rpm. that is not bad compared to stock GSR . plus if we are not beating up on the car . On high way miles 52 mpg and around town 40 mpg . this year coming up plan to reflash the car and boost it . might even look at taking out the R18 and using the R20 . Plus if we are all doing the same thing there nothing new to learn from . one cool factor is when going to the shows with the car . People at first most of the time cant figure out what the Frack it is ...LOL

was not to bad. the sucky thing was the immobilizer system . have to have the matching key , fusebox/bcm and ecu all out of the same car . since then , we have figured out to hack the immobilize out of the ecu by removing certain 8 pin chips out of the ECU . even if you have to do it the first way we came up with it . was not bad at all . most of the colors honda likes to use do the same functions. also with the ABS/TCM stuff gone . the pedal is now 1 to 1 . no delay

That power is at the wheels? What's the weight of the car? Curious now for my CRX... this would be a great way to get 50mpg on the highway but still boost for awesome power.

I smell bs on power numbers lol if it made that on the dyno the corrections are wayyy off for altitude making it show big numbers 110%

x2 on the BS unless you have it tuned...

Horsepower @ rpm (SAE net, Rev 8/04) 140 @ 6300
Torque (lb.-ft. @ rpm) 128 @ 4300
