and dead serious this thing is staying prettty much bone stock, I just want to make it look like a clean as fack stock bronco , its already got a flowmaster muffler soo it sounds decent and even already has a nice stereo im just going to keep it clean and enjoy it when I need to do truck stuff or when its nice and can take the top off, im in the process of converting it to r134 but its been kind of frustrating to get to cycle properly

I hope you're 609 certified. There's a lot that can go wrong, and unless you're certified you're really not even supposed to touch an r12 system.

Also, congrats on getting a garage. It's a nice feeling to have enough cars that you can play eenie minie moe each morning.

So it would appear that while I've been away, Dilbeck has turned into Kenny Powers.

Interesting.

I've had a 609 card for almost a decade now, nothing other than a test that consists of 'herp derp common sense.' No real precautions to take when converting from R12, empty the system and drain the oil and put ester oil in and then fill to capacity with R134. For ever and ever I always heard all sorts of stuff from "you have to change the compressor and drier" to "you have to change every single seal" to this and that...and at the end of the day, I've never ever ever ever seen one NOT work from just emptying the old stuff and filling with new stuff, unless there was another preexisting problem.

lol you arent the first to make the Kenny Powers comment , and yes nothing special is needed and ive got quite a few customers that swear that some of the coldest AC they have ever done are R12 systems just sucked down and replaced with R134 and oil , I have to replace the compressor on my truck I can get it to engage and cycle but it started making a nasty noise soon as we got it working (the ac compressor was unplugged when I got the truck soo assuming it was already bad) , I love this truck and that ole SeaDoo is the most fun ive had for $1500

I had one exactly like it in highschool same color and all just was a 5.0 and had step bars
