It was a nice but small calling hour. A bunch of work guys, fishing guys, and a couple car guys were present along with his sisters, his wife and some of her family flew in from japan.
Seeing his wife was pretty hard. Word is they are going to get through probate as quickly as possible, sell everything, and she is going to move back to japan taking just the dogs.
A couple of the work guys came in and told little stories about working with him for 15+ years. Hearing some of that was hard to keep it straight. Lots of respect on the shop floor.
word from his neighbor is that he had an anyuerism and it ended up in his lungs. He called out Friday not feeling well. A neighbor saw him pacing in and out of the garage at 4am sat as he left for work.... clayton went inside around 8am and told his wife he couldn't breathe and collapsed a min later. 911 came and took him but by 930 he was declared.
If he just called earlier he might still be with us today. That is probably the hardest part of this.
So, if you feel like something is wrong don't man up... Don't hesitate. Go get your ass a ride to the er. Get a yearly check up with blood work.
@Airjockie we'll miss you, buddy. You helped me with countless projects, introduced me to new foods, culture, and even got me out fishing a few times. But most of all, you were a good friend and I'll miss you.
