man, havn't checked this thread in a while, that Kitty video at the top of this page took me way back.

I've been hearing these guys on the radio lately. Pretty good of your into Jimmy Paige. Not all of there music sounds like a led zeppelin cover but I lime this song

Someone got laid after the show...

I would hope so, but the sad reality of it is probably more like some of the 30, 40, and 50ish year old staff members thought it was awesome, and most of their classmates probably didn't recognize the song...

Dunno. My 6 year old daughter likes Metallica. And Tool.

I started listening to radio metal when I was ~10 and got into the really heavy stuff around ~13 and I had plenty of kids like me when I was in school. The generation is only mostly hopeless. That is really cool though. I'd love to convince my band to cover something heavier. I'll just keep my 8 string in the corner and play Meshuggah covers with my drummer on my own time.

On an unrelated note, I've really been enjoying this song.

I know it's old, but I stumbled across this again today and enjoyed a few songs from this studio.

I watch that video about once a month...still. Probably listened to this version more times than the original in the last year.

I've been into these guys for a little while, and while they only have one album it's pretty amazing from a musical standpoint. They're an instrumental band that has guest vocalists on some of their tracks, where they write a piece and have the musician sing it which is pretty cool because aside from Daniel Tompkins they all sing in a way you wouldn't otherwise expect them to. This track is pretty long and a bit of journey but it's my favorite one.
