So what are people using for car air fresheners these days? I'm still rocking the old cardboard tree, but figured there has to be something better out in the year 2018.

My Prelude had one of these guys in it and people kept commenting on how good it smelled so I just found more. It's a little strong on its own but the scent is pretty great.

seriously... and yes, it does indeed lol

it is probably my favorite scent / air freshener EVER!!!!

the smell isn't very strong (calms down a lot by the 2nd day) but lingers nicely for a few weeks before I need to respray the carpeted areas
it honestly makes me smile every time I get in the car and catch a whiff of it
I keep the bottle in the car so I can reapply whenever I feel like it

gotten multiple compliments on it from people who didn't know what it was, but REALLY liked the scent
if and when I would tell them what it was:
some would laugh:lmao:
some would have a moment of thought followed by a :hmm: "hmph... yeah that's it"
some (mostly uptight women types) get all uppity about it  "that's so gross, why would you want your car to smell like a whore" (1st stripper doesn't always = whore, those are called hookers... and 2nd why wouldn't I?)

gotten a few friends to buy bottles for their own cars

about 1/2 way through my 16oz bottle now... probably picking up a gallon next time :D

I'm still rocking the yellow pine trees.
They don't last very long but it's a nostalgic thing for me.

As soon as I saw the thread title I was waiting for the stripper scent post! Did not disappoint.

vanilla roma? lol

'got trees on the mirror so the car don't smell'

i rock au natural these days.

I've got a bath and body works visor clip thingy my wife bought me. I was skeptical at first but I actually like it. They have a variety of scent packet refills you can choose from.

I'm always entertained when I see a car with about 20 of these hanging from a mirror. A rainbow freshener forest. People don't realize that it's stupid to have 20 pieces of garbage blocking your line of vision. lol

lol easy trick ? cut a shitty tree in half and put one side on each side of the cabin air filter lol smells good every time - and covers up the copious amount of devils lettuce smoked in the car

My car's always smell newish for the first 100k and then I deep clean it and it smells new again then?? :Shrugs:

Thanks, everybody! In the end, I ended up sticking with the trees, but I'm trying a new scent..."Black Ice."

Honestly, I don't know how people can stand to just rip one of these fully out of the package and hang it up. They're super strong. I always do it like the back of the package says, just expose a little bit at a time.

, just expose a little bit at a time.

That's what keeps em coming back for more!
I also follow the directions, and once it's done it goes in the trash. Not trying to have a cardboard tree forest, and never on the rearview.
