Tomorrow's megamillions:
Next Estimated Jackpot:
$ 1.60 BILLION
Cash Option: $904 million

It's just crazy to even try to parse this.

904 million will probably net you 500 in your pocket after taxes.

At just 2% return, which is easy to beat in a CD, let alone anything else that has a risk, it's 10m a year in income. 10% is 50 mill in income!

even if you blew 100 million in the first year buying every car you ever dreamed of and a 100-bay garage, a full time mechanic crew, nannys, house keepers, and of course the H&B factor, you'd still earn more money than you could spend on things.

Would you fix your city?
donate to charities?
end world hunger?
build a wall or two?

I'd help out animal shelters around the Country and set up some sort of funding so people can apply to get funds to help their sick or injured pets or help adopt for people who can't afford it. I'd open up a nonprofit Gastropub/Bar and hire people to run it. I'd probable walk around and just hand people Hundy's to brighten up their day. A lot of good to can be done.

Of course this is after i bought the essentials:

Moving the fuck out of CT....Franklin, Tn, or Scottsdale AZ...somewhere like that...., Getting the standard staples: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin etc and suppped up truck of some sort. Probably a Lingenfelter Silverado....I'm a big watch fan so a lot of high end watches: a few Patek Phillips, Audemar Piguets, Vacheron Constantins, A.Lange & Sohnes, Jeager LeCoultres(already have one of these, Behold my JLC Master Compressor Dualmatic).

i can go on and on...

I thought about this yesterday. I'd immediately set up a 501(c)(3) and start working with disabled veterans. I'd probably still work at Google just to stay close to the technology and the dev talent, but I'd set up my business and have them "acquire" the company. If I ever get the chance, my passion product would be to use robotics and AI to build better prosthetics and get our military guys walking, using their arms, etc.

My other option, which I could do at the same time, would be to buy an NFL team. I think it would be awesome to buy the Seahawks, especially now that Paul Allen has passed away. You could take the $1.6b in payments and use that for some sort of interest only loan to acquire the team. It wouldn't be too hard to find financing. But owning an NFL franchise has always been my other big dream.

Other than that, I wouldn't do a whole lot different. I wouldn't start flying around in private planes with gold AK-47s or anything.

i'd move to NH for the summer and somewhere more southern for the winter. humble houses.... invest chunks of money so i wouldn't have to work much if at all. hire a small racing team. pretty boring lol

I'd buy 20,000 acres in the mountains somewhere, build a huge house at the top of said mountain with a heli pad then tell everyone else to fuck off. :)

You don't have to be a billionaire to tell everyone to fuck off. I'm broke as shit and tell people to fuck off all the time!

I believe Kenny Mayne has a big thing going for prosthetics right now. It's awesome. Guy really gives back.
