I have not, I sat in one at the dealership because my wife wanted to check out the Bolt. lol. They also had a new Z06 there.

C7Zs are about to be a great buy with the anticipation of the C8...

Saw your exact car but in Blue today on the way home. She looked good!

The blue looks badass! I was kinda wanting that color but didn't care enough lol

Here's a fast lap from my second track day with the car. There is a lot of room for improvement here; I am very much still in the learning phase. For reference, race cars with slicks run in the 1:17 to 1:18 range on this course. I never ran this configuration with my GTR, so I don't have any direct comparisons.

nice!! harrys works great.

Harry's is awesome. I see plenty of people with Aim but I just don't care enough right now. Plus, my car has the PDR system so I can just use that and Cosworth toolbox if I really want to dig into my laps.

That car looks like it turns in great! Looks like a lot of fun.

FYI, your timer still says GTR. :p

This car is far more willing to rotate than the GTR. It was a handful at first but lightening my right foot and paying close attention to my inputs have helped tremendously.

I know, I really need to change that lol :)

Here's a shot from SCCA TNiA - cheap track time, well organized, and a solid selection of dates throughout the year.

TNIA is great, we have 4 tracks within 2 hours. 2 of them within one hour!

TNIA is really solid, $160 for a few sessions after a half day at work is tough to beat! Two tracks within an hour here, three if you count Texas Motor Speedway infield which is pretty small.

Love the camo wrap
Thanks man, I thought it fit the car's personality lol
Sweet. I wanna ride!
Let's do it! I'm always driving lol

So I swapped over to NT01s from the Goodyear SuperCar 3Rs. The NT01s are the same exact sizes as stock: 305/30/19 and 325/30/19. Overall, I'm impressed. I was able to match my PB on the Goodyears, but maintain lap times within a half second. The Goodyears weren't too happy after a lap or two.

Destroyed front Goodyears lol

Best lap from yesterday. 1:21.15 which is exactly what my PB was on the stock Goodyears lol

nice, and holy crap on the fronts!

I'm glad I checked between sessions lol.. I could hear chunks of rubber flying around the wheel wells

that thing LOVEs 60-90mph. geeze that goes by quick

It has a serious "freight train" feel.. I love the powerband

Get some R comp's on there!

The OEM 3Rs are an R comp, oddly enough I switched to Nittos and went just as fast lol

I mean a real R compound. :p

Oh, that will happen at some point. Gently used take offs are ~$600/set which is pretty tough to pass up, I just need a second set of wheels to mount them to!

Gonna have to remember to hit you up one of these off Fridays when I'm not tied up doing other crap, or outside the country...

I was going to go to the TNiA too. :(

Yea man, do it! I've been to both TNiA events so far this year. I am about to take a short hiatus, though. 95+ degree track days = not so much fun lol

I had another track day yesterday at the Texas Motor Speedway infield circuit. It is short (~1.2 miles), with a max speed of ~125 mph on the front stretch, so there is very little time for the brakes and tires to cool between corners. Needless to say, the car performed beautifully and I was able to set a new PB which was a full second faster than the next fastest car out there. I have about 15 track days under my belt (between the GTR and this car) and I am considering entering SCCA time trial events. I may or may not do it this season but for sure want to give it a shot next season. Anyone here done TT events with SCCA?
