hey guys, i hope this is posted in the right place. i don't know if you would consider a request for a body a request for a part or a car...i figured a car. any way, i'm looking for a 93-95 del sol body, don't care about the engine or the tranny (as long as it's a manual) condition. i'll take a 96 or 97 if the price is good enough, but i prefer the early ones. i want a decent body, i don't want to put money into body work. minor dings are acceptable. if anyone has one, or knows someone who has one please let me know. i've beat myself up ever since i traded mine in on a 99 civic ex. needed something reliable...so i gave up my sol:(.
now i want one to build. i don't have much to spend, will have a little more when i get my income tax in. anyway, you guys get the point. let me know if you can help me out.

hey guys, thanks for the replies. those would be good options if i had the money. but i am just looking for a body. i don't want the engine that's in it. i plan to do a b18 swap or possibly an h22-some friends of mine really want to see that one done. as long as the car was a five speed so i don't have to change anything, the engine can be blown and the transmission somewhere in mexico. i'm already paying on 99 civic, so i'm only looking to spend 1000-1500 if possible (which i am aware may not be possible for a descent del sol shell). anyway, thanks again guys, and to the guy with del sol s...if you decide to part it out let me know...but if it runs that good, that wouldn't be wise. peace.

no matter where you buy your shell. It would be a better idea to get a running car. Mainly because then you can sell the drivetrain to offset the cost, but also because it will most likely be in better condition than a shell. If you are set on getting a shell, be prepared to run into problems, because remember, there is a reason that the motor is gone and the car is just sitting.
