For Sale: MINT 1988 Yellow CRX w/ 80k miles CT

This is my dad's car, he is located in CT although shipping could be arranged to florida perhaps. This car is 100% original and he is the second owner of the car. He purchased it at 67k miles and has just installed a timing belt, turned the rotors, and put new tires on it. The car also has the original OEM CD player (a dealer option), OEM dash cover, and will come with OEM wheels w/ new tires. Car hasn't been driven in the winter, and has absolutely NO RUST.

He is asking 4500 for the car and isn't in a hurry to sell it.

bump for a BEAUTIFUL rex. and amazing it doesnt suffer the horrible death that most every yellow CRX suffers. very pretty red CRX as well :thumbsup:

The best lca's? Think not. They are actually the worst lca's. 88's are big and heavy and suck. Most people recomend replacing them with 89-91. Thats a hell of a lot of money for a crx.

no, from a performance standpoint, they are actually better. people only recommend going to the 89-91 ones because parts are easier to find.

and its a good price considering the condition of the CRX. try finding another flawless CRX like this one for cheaper. i doubt you would even find one in as good as condition.

i respect your dad's respect for his very fine automobile, but if your dad would come down on the price he would have better luck. I know that we all love our hondas. But we need to take a deep breath and realise that we are selling a car and not giving up a child for adoption. if he would bring it down to 2500 i would be very very very intrested

dude, stop low balling. for one he said hes not in a hurry to sell it, so its basically its not going anywhere unless he gets what he wants for it. the car is worth every penny. you can get a shitty rust bucket CRX for 2500 why would you get a MINT one for the same?

Are you people stupid. I have seen crx's in worse condition selling for more. Its a mint crx. Stop lowballing and preventing him from selling. Any further lowballing will be warned, due to interfering with chet trying to sell something.

you get what you pay for. i too would buy it if i had the money, but i dont, and i dont need another CRX, but at this point i would rather have that one instead of my peice of shit, lol.
