Yes, I've read the prospectus and info on paypal.com, but I was wondering if any of you are participating in the fund?

Any personal opinions?

The Pros & Cons?

ive had MANY horrible experiences with PayPal trying to freeze money kept in that account. one time they froze $400 from an auction because the bidder claimed he never received the items. even though i had all the shipping receipts, tracking numbers, etc. it still took 5 months for them to give me the funds back. and this was just one of the cases where they took my money. under no circumstances whatsoever would i leave ANY amount of money dormant in my PayPal account.

paypal fucking SUCKS.

When I sold the bare LS block I got from Hybrid89 (I only needed the crank and main journals), the dude paid with paypal. I shipped the block, then transferred the remaining $270 to my bank account.

A week later, nothing. Called my bank, they had no record of it. Called Paypal, sat on hold for 45 minutes (on a long distance number during peak calling hours), and talked to some jackass who told me 'it normally takes 3-5 business days for the funds to appear'. I told him it had been over a week, and he said 'well you can check the FAQ on our website. Thank you!' and he hung up.

That was a month ago. Nothing in my bank account, I've called paypal 8 times and they tell me the same thing.

PAYPAL SUCKS.

i've been using paypal for over 4 years, and have esily sent/received $25,000 through it with out a hitch.

I keep about 1000 in my paypal account. It currently is earning 1.60%.

Try finding HALF that rate at a bank. it doesn't happen.

People who have problems with paypal really have a problem with the person they have done business with and blame paypal, when then are just doing their jobs as middle men.

word.

ive never had a problem, except when my mugen steering wheel was purchased with a stolen credit card.

that's right, i blamed paypal. because when they fail to provide next to NO form of customer service, then they are NOT doing their job as middle men.
