as some of you know, i bought a truck. ive alwasys wanted one and came across a helluva deal on a truck that i KNOW has been taken care of. i bought a 1995 Ford Ranger Splash pickup that belonged to my brother for $1200. the motor is totally shot in it and i am going to just replace it with another 3.0L V6. anyways, pics of it below:

there are alot of things i need to do to it to make it more "me" but i think its gonna be fun to do as i have never built up a truck before. future plans for it include: air ride, 19" wheels, Sir Michaels rollpan and a billet grille...and LOTS more. anyway, thats my new truck. :)

he wants out of the car game altogether. I really want his Teg but I don't have 1000 large to drop on it, otherwise I would.

Perhaps when I can get around to getting bills reduced I might be able to do it, but by then it'll more than likely be sold.

btw Brian did you ever put your rims on or are they still in the box?

You hate mazda too? cause taht's all that truck is with Ford badging on it.
 
Wow- visually it looks to be in really great shape! Now bolt up a pair of turbos before you drop the new engine in. :)

All the Rangers were Mazdas for a while, but I don't know if this particular generation was still made by Mazda and badged by Ford. I think it was. I don't know about the engine.
 
actually the Mazdas trucks that body style (and newer) are all made by Ford.

James- i still got the rims and never put them on. got em for sale actually and i think i have a buyer for them :)

i love minitrucks also, my buddy has a s10 extreme extended cab and everytime i see it i want one ;\
his is body dropped and bagged rolling on 20's. he said he is gonna chop the top just to make it lower but i think thats gay :p

eventually, when i have all the cars i want, im either gonna buy a minitruck or suv just to slam it and bag it.

Ah, ok. So just the boxy ones were made by Mazda. I knew the flip-flopped the system at some point- I just didn't know when.

I've already got one- but it's on a static drop and is getting a turbo. No bags and no dragging / spark throwing for me. :p :lol:
 
LOL no Mike. the 93+ Mazda B-series trucks are made by Ford

93+ Mazda B-series=93+ Ford Ranger.
