I have an Obd2 b18c1 and was wondering what all was required to get this to work on my motor before I invest in it.What I mean is how would the secondaries open with the Obd1 p75?Would I need to do more to get it to work properly or should I just go with Aem ems?Any input would be helpful before I invest money and then figure out I have to invest more to make it work.THAT WOULD SUCK.

Dont really have the answer 4 u but i would just get a Skunk2 manifold or a JG edel mani. It would solve that problem and you'll get some more power for your motor IMO.

is the aem ems any good?Is it worth the money and would it open the secondaries?

its a bad ass unit. but its a lot of money. i'd go with a speed pro or hal tec before i dumped 1300 bucks on aem.

you can be up with crome for under 500 bucks including a wideband if you buy everything brand new.

So if I do the crome system am I going to have to get a skunk2 Intake manifold to do away with the secondaries? Is that the best way to go is to do away with the secondaries I dont want to loose hp.Because my plan is to in the next month turbo it.where do you get crome at?Will the aem ems system open the secondaries or will I still have to do away with them? Thanks for all your help

crome will run on just about any obd1 ecu.

the p72 has IAB control. the p28 does not.

you can upgrade to the skunk2 intake mani (or any other kind) and use a p28 (cheaper, easier to find than an obd1 p72)
OR
keep the stock mani and run a p72

Ok so a p28 does it need to be stock when I buy it or can it be chipped with like a skunk2 chip?Is the manifold going to make me loose anything because I hear that a skunk2 manifold makes you loose bottom end.Or can I buy the ecu off of crome?Sorry for all the questions just dont know much about engine management.Trying to see what all I need to not loose hp maybe gain a few
