i have a 94 honda civic dx automatic it had the d15b7 engine in it.. i just bought a d15 vtec manuel tranny and i am doing a swap. i wired it all up with my orginal wires from my old motor everything went in good but it did not have a place for the vtec how do i hook that up.. and i got a manuel tranny engine mount out of a coupe version but with my motor in it is higher on the tranny side so its throwing off my shift linkage and everything.i have already hooked up my cluth pedal with the hidro lines running to the tranny now how do i hook up the clutch pedal sencor. if anyone has done on of these swaps can u please help me..

does anyone have any type of information on this swap.. yes i have the motor in the car already and the prolems i am having are listed above.. like vtec hook up tranny engine mount problems and clutch pedal sencors

to hook up the vtec solenoid you have two plugs, one with 2 wires and one with 1 wire.

On the plug with two wires, ground one of the wires to somplace under the hood.

Second extend the other one 3 feet and run it to your ecu and splice it into D6 on your ECU

Third, the one wire plug. cut the plug off and extend the wire through the firewall to the ecu as well and connect that to A4

Here is the ECU pin-out so you know where d6 and a4 are. pay no attention to the rest because the rest is for GSR and H22 only.

As for your mount, use a stock manual transmission mount from a 92-95 civic.

and as for the clutch switch, dont even worry about it unless you start your car in gear?
