OBD1 or OBD2 distributor?

How do know the diff between an OBD1 distributor and an OBd2? will an obd2 distributor plug into an obd1 wire harness?

the distributors have different plugs on them. i think the odb1 has 2 plugs and the obd2 has one bigger plug..but i could be wrong. and yes u can put an obd2 distributor on an obd2 harness but u will have to cut and splice some wires.

yes, obd1 and obd2 are different, obd1 has 2 plugs, obd2 has 1 large plug, you can wire an obd1 dizzy to work on an obd2 car, but you CANNOT wire an obd2 dizzy to work on an obd1 car, obd2 dizzy does not have a crank angle sensor.
