I have very crappy tires on the car: Michelin XGT4s. With only a bit of battery power left in his digital camera, my brother took three videos. One was buggered. He named the files. I never renamed them. Though, the night before, when I unveiled the swap in Penticton, BC, I had a much better burnout. It was not recorded. Probably lost a bunch of rubber and could smell the clutch a bit.
But, anyway, thanks for the compliment on the car and swap.
It most certainly does work and I highly recommend the swap. Just don't rev over about 7200 rpm, which is out of the peak power and torque band anyway, and you'll be fine with the approximately 1.539:1 rod ratio. Of course, if you choose to build the bottom end, disregard the 7200 safety barrier.
B20B block is completely stock internally except for the intake valve reliefs on the pistons. They're enlarged. The B16A head is completely rebuilt, with ITR valve springs, porting & polishing and a 3-angle valve grind.
