96 lude swap from 94 posible?
im looking to but a 96 prelude with an h23 non vtec blown im getting one heck of a deal i have a buddy that just bought a jspec h22a for his 94 prelude can i use his old h22a1 vtec motor for my 96 non tec prelude please hurry i dont want this deal topass me up thx guys also if its possible what needs to be done

Should be a straight up bolt in swap. But you'll have to convert to the same OBD as the motor, and make sure you get all of it. Motor, tranny, ecu, anything else.

you need to convert from OBD1 to OBD2.... only thing thats really different is your distibuter.... just use your H23 dizzy and you will be just fine.... then you need to run a jumper wire to run the Vtec. and to do that use these links:

other way around. he has an obd2 car so he needs to go obd2 to obd1. not a hard swap. you will have to wire vtec.
