Exclamation Auto to s80 on BB6

My friend recently blew his automatic, well he didnt, it did it by itself.

I was wonder like the title says change the auto to a s80 type-r tranny. I know thier is h2b kits but what i really came down to as problems were mounting issues. Is it possibal to use oem ones, i have never seen this or heard of it but im pretty sure it is possibal.

the budget is around 3-4k

You'll probably need custom mounts, adapter plate/spacer, and axles. Also, you'll have issues with the shift linkage...don't know if it's the correct length but you'll definitely have to cut a hole for the shifter.

Why not just get a Type-S or SiR-T transmission?

Why not just get an H22 tranny? It will bolt in, use stock mounts, and be hella cheaper then a Type R B-series tranny and an H2B kit. I'm not sure if the H2B kit will even work in a Prelude as far as mounts go. It's really meant to be used for putting an H22 into a Civic or Integra...

Looks like the H22A Euro-R/Type-R have the best ratios.
