Default Suggestions for motor swap in 95 prelude

Hello all,

I got an 95 prelude with a blown rod, but still starts up. It currently has a H23A1 per a stamp on the motor and an automatic, which i have no idea which one it is. I would like to keep the auto trans in the car. I was looking on some advice on which route to go with doing a motor swap. Which motor would be the best motor to swap in there that would give me the most performance but would be the easiet to swap in? A motor if possible that would allow me to reuse what i have in the car, as the axles, trans, mounts, ecu computer harness, ect... If it would be more benificial to pic up a motor swap kit from a JDM company that comes with a ecu and everything but would be really easy and fast to install, I would be willing to here those options as well. My primary goal is to get the car back up and running as fast and as easily as possible, but improve on what was in there.

Thanks in advance....

Troy

Is there anywheere online i can get a automatic to manual kit? Finding a prelude manual in the junk yard by me is like finding a needle in a hay stack.... The reason i ask is that I found a complete kit for a H22A on http://http://www.hmotorsonline.com/...age&item=30017.
Or i might just go with a H23A long block from them... http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30029

Could I hook up a H22A Vtech Motor up too what i have now? Because they have one for $300 more than the H23A and it has 40 more HP... I am just worrying about the wire end of it.

Any Suggestions???

If i bought the h22a vtech instead of the h23a, would there be any issues using my ecu and wiring? For $300 more, i could install the vtech motor with 40 more hp. It would be 300 well spent.

Does any one know the reputation of http://hmotorsonline.com ??
any other good companies to look for a long block?

Thanks for the reply

Ok Just talked to HMO and the said that there would be no problems if i put the H22A in place of the H23A other than i would need the ECU for the vtech and run 2 wires from the ecu to the vtech solenoid. So i am thinking which route i should take now, either $975 for the H23A or $1400 for the H22A w/ecu..... Decisions.....
