Hey guys, i'm new to this forum. I just bought a 2000 Prelude (sh?). I don't know for sure if it IS or not an SH because the guy who sold me it said he had the engine replaced. I'm scared i bought it without the ATTS.
Here's why i think it IS an SH...
1.)The tranny has M2U4 code on it. (i dunno if the ATTS is atached directly to tranny)
2.)Pearl White paint... i think its available only on the SH?
3.)SH stock rims...5 straight spoke
4.) SH stock Spoiler on trunk.... available only SH right?
5.) Leather wrapped shift knob... no gear numbers on top, i saw some SH's on cardomain with the same shift knob.
I can't recall anything else right now... but according to this other post i saw the BEST way to tell is to actually see the ATTS system in the engine or the ATTS light that lights up on top of the gas gauge inside... well... my car doesn't light up any ATTS gauge, and i don't know what the ATTS system looks like inside the engine bay or where it's located, and i also saw some people talking about a ATTS reservoir for fluid.. which they discussed should be ATF (automatic tranny fluid)... well i can't find this reservoir... if anyone know where the ATTS system itself is or any sure ways to tell, please send me pics or let me know? Thanks!

the atts is inside the transmission and its basically a a limited slip differential just the best of the best that came out factory i own a 98 sh and i know that the leather wrapped shift knob only came on the sh it should light a atts light inside the dash when starting if not look closely to see if it has it. in the dcash if so the bulb might just be burnt out.

so where's this differential fluid or ATF fluid reservoir for the atts that i keep hearing about? i can't find it!

go to DMV w/ a Vin and ask them

the dmv will give him what the car came with stock. maybe it had the engine replaced along as the tranny?

no the atts is on the back of the motor, it takes the place of the half shaft. and the refill is on the unit itself
