i got a question for ya JDMilan. I have a 99 JDM B16A and i have the Skunk2 chip in my P28 ECU. Now the rev limiter is now at 9000 so can i safely take the revs that high without modifying anything else? Do i need some valve springs? oh and I am also getting Skunk2 cam gears soon if that helps? I just don't wanna screw up my engine that's all!

Well as far as you sohc'ers, i personally would not recomend the Zex cam to you. my friend had one and you could barely even tell it was there! I think his air intake had more effect on his motor than the cam did! But as far as the skunk2 cam for the sohc application, i have never know anyone to do it.
But a question i do have for you JDMilan, is that i have a 98 LS bottom end, with a 95 GSR head{Crower dual spring, Ti retainers and keepers, Ferrea stainless valves}. I also have a Skunk2 IM and a crank girdle in the block to help rigidness at higher RPM's, but do not want to spin it highter than 8200 or so...and my dilema is that i have a turbo kit to either put on this motor, or my LS swap i'm putting in my del Sol, and keep my hatch all motor. But can't decide which set of cams to get if i do go all motor in my hatch, because i want to keep a narrower power band{3k to 8k}, but in doing that, i want to see "awesome" power out of a set of cams if i do go that route! What are your suggestions? I also have planned on ITB's for it if i do go all motor also. And FYI this is still a "street car", but with no emisions to worry about down here in Alabama . So i have no worries about that aspect of things, I just want Balls-to-the-wall power!

In stock condition I would so nay, the stock cams make power until roughly 8-8200rpms. Anything past that wont do you any good. High revs doesn't mean more power unless your cams will produce it otherwise. I would personally set your rev limit at 8200, so that if your wheels do spin you won't put any stress on the motor. Good luck.
