now here's a myth ive heard of. I personally dont know this because I dont actually OWN a RSX.
My buddy recently about a year ago. Hyrdo-locked his K with the AEM true cold. hit water. sucked water. locked. well since the car wasnt even a year and half old. he had it warrantied. (took the AEM off put everything back stock and did the shrug of the shoulders thing) well after the engine swap. for some stupid reason they even changed his ECU. He noticed that his car was acting waaay more badass. from what he heard. is that the I-vtec ecu's logs on how you drive your car. and if you baby it. vtec wont kick so soon when you jump on it. but if your always getting into it. your vtec will kick sooner. he said he felt the diffrence as soon as he got the car back. now the question. Does I-Vtec really moniter how you drive and decide to auto tune or whatever for a harder drive if your hard on the engine? or is it a possibility my bud is just loco?

The Kicker of Elves.

He probably just broke the engine in properly instead of babying it, which will make the engine make more of its potential power.

well the new engine was used. so possibly the previous owner broke it in harder.
