k20 is fwd, f20c is rwd. what are you trying to use it for?

If the head is warped, than the engine ran hot, obviously. More damage was probably done that you most likely will not notice. Decking the block and resurfacing the head is usually what you would do in this situation, as long as the engine can be salvaged along with new head studs/bolts and headgasket. Its also a good idea to inspect the cooling system for damage as well.
As far as the s2k transaxle mating to the k20, not happening.

first off yes the head is warped but the block is straight, checked it with a straight edge. the cylinders got a little hot but they have already been honed and i replaced the rings. when it was being honed i also had it checked for straightness and magnifluxed to make sure no cracks. I am allowed to take the old parts because it was a customer pay job. we replaced this motor with a motor from a junkyard because the customer didnt want to buy a factory honda reman... As for asking about mating the two together how the hell would i know anything about that. i cant exactly do that shit at work. you know it would be alot easier just to explain why it wouldnt work.

dude you aren't a honda tech.... you would know just by looking if you truly were a tech and you would use common sense and know the FWD does not = RWD...

just because it is in a fwd dosent mean it cant work in a rwd if the rotation is the correct way for the trans. and the bellhousings mate up or you can make a adapter plate and flywheel spacer. look at all the old toyota corollas they are fwd and rwd and have the same engine and all the ruy is asking about is fitment to the trans of the s2k and the trans is what makes some thing rwd or fwd

Lay off the kid about being a technician. Technician is just a word. Im a service technician at my job but I don't have a high school diploma. The H dealership where I purchased my s2000 calls everyone in the back a technician. Maybe just to make the lube guys feel better. Who knows.... AHHVTEC is correct about being modded to work though, to an extent. If you are good at reading wiring diagrams and auotmotive wiring, it should be no trouble at all. I'm no expert on this particular swap but the only major diff. between the K and F20 is.............wait........I just caught deja vu.......F20C possible in a eg hatch??? As for you actually doing it, go for it. If a K series can be mated to a CRX, than this should be no problem. ![]()
