What about all the engine management and wirinig and such? Is that all up to the consumer to build them selves?

Ahh, I see. What was your reason for swapping to a motor with less power (unless you got a black top out of a 99-02 Silvia, which would still only give you 5 horse)?

j/w but why not just put a turbo on the stock s2000 motor with a good tune at 9psi and get those numbers

just cuz its somethin that has never been done before plus the factory motor was about done any ways plus sr20s can handle a lil more power on the stock bottom end and will make more tork then the f20c

Hmm, to each his own. GL with it, and some pics of the finished project would be cool.

Why would you swap out the best motor Honda ever put in a production car? Especially when it also can be boosted, charged, or injected with ease?

for just the basic swap and front mount it was done for cheaper then buyin a another f20c motor set you could use the factory sr20 ecu the only reason i am runnin AEM is because of the turbo upgrade

Idk, 18 grand just makes it pointless.

Post some pics or video's of the final product, or even the creation. I'd like to see where my 18g's would be going. Deffinatly not parts. And if you do this swap all the time, why not have prefab'd mounts and harnesses, thus bringing the cost down considerably.

Oh, and fix the picture you posted earlier. You can't post pictures that are in your Microsoft Live email account bud

yeah sounds like a huge waste of time and money. and if you paid that much you got ripped off. 18 grand could make a monster out of anything.

so 18 grand is just the motor and fmic installed?

it doesnt include the car? omfg

i would put some sleeves, pistons, rods, disco potato, aem ems and still have like 11k left over.
