    thats why 92's rock.. i dunno about auto or whatever.. but 92 chassis is prewired for vtec/o2.. vetty nice. makes for oem looking harnesses just make sure you look at a diagram and make certain that the wire is straight from the ecu to the point you're using it from.. and you should be ok ;)

    couldnt tell ya about the alternator.. i just used th 92-95 one and kept the old plug.. as far as the distributor.. the wire colors are the same on the actual distributor as your cx harness.. so look at the 96+distributor side of the plug and you'll see the normal orn, wht, orn/blu, wht/blue...

    D16A1 to sohc ZC vtec p28 wiring issues

    as far as i know no zc's are vtec.. zc = 1.6L non vtec.. hence the zc is more like d16a6 si motor.. not like d16z6 except for that pesky dohc zc .. got a pic of your zc? if for whatever reason you have vtec on it.. then p28 would be a kew choice.. but you'll need a obd0-obd1 conversion...
