is it a sohc vtec ZC? if it is you can use a USDM P28 manual ecu with it. should be 2 unconnectec plugs by the back of the firewall where egr was on cx, if the CX had egr stuff. Have you tried using the CX dizzy? Or using the stock CX wiring harness and just adding wires to the ecu for vtec...

Ok heres the scoop. Put in a D15B sohc vtec. i changed the belt with a 1.5L vx timing belt from napa. Its on tight, but it looked like its off by 2 teeth. didnt drive it much and its in a shop cuz i missconnected a plug on the harness & had to T off a vucuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator...

you better have both covers on it you value your motor att all. like dood said, a lil pebble gets in there.. BANG! your history. what about modding an A1 ? buy a dremmel and get :D . just my 2 pesos. or use plexiglass
