    Second O2 sensor wiring issue

not sure if you solved your wiring issues or not, but yes, just tap into the existing 2nd 02 wiring your EX harness has.

    Custom ECU Jumper Blow Out!

YO.. I'm trying to cluck a few specialized ecu jumpers that haven't sold in the past few years. Most of which are VAFC ver.1 related, meaning you simply plug n' play a VAFC v.1 unit directly into the jumper harness and no wiring necessary. Selling at dirty girl prices... I accept paypal...

    D16y8 to D16y7 Downgrade Issues...

I personally haven't heard of running rich issues with Y8 injectors vs. Y7 injectors, I believe both injectors have the same PSI specs.

*****usdm ITR in a jdm GSR block**********

yeah, this procedure is known as the 'poorman's ITR engine'. This setup runs just fine by the way. Dropping in a set of JDM ITR 11.0 pistons is good idea if you're planning to stay NA. ITR rods are basically GSR/SiR-G rods slightly lightened and balanced. Its up to you if you want to got ITR...

    D16y8 to D16y7 Downgrade Issues...

No problem.. I'm betting the supposed CAN ecu you have will work fine. The D16Y5 is the HX motor which is VTEC economy, so you don't want this ecu. As far as SOHC civic non-VTEC engines go, there's only one..the D16Y7. The breakdown is: D16Y5 (sohc vtec-e) = 96-00 HX D16Y7 (sohc non-vtec)...

    D16y8 to D16y7 Downgrade Issues...

Here's my suggestions to you... I'm assuming you're going to reuse the auto Y8 engine harness correct? if so... ECU: Use/find yourself an AUTO Y7 ecu for sure. The info is right that you've read - depinning the VTEC components will not do crap if you reuse the Y8 ecu and 'live with teh cel...

    Engine swap D16Z6 into 91Civic

Just to add my .2 cents.. in order to complete an OBD1 conversion you need these parts and might just be redundant info: OBD1 P28 ecu OBD1 D16Z6 distributor OBD1/OBD2 4-wire 02 sensor (which the motor should come with) OBD0-OBD1 jumper harness converter This harness has a sub-harness...

    Quick Question

    96-99 is OBD2a for integra engines & ecu's. 00-01 is OBD2b for integra's (immobilizer equipped ecu's). 96-98 is OBD2a for civics

1994 US Civic EX - b18c5 conversion questions

you can totally use it for daily driving purposes. It just a bit thicker than a dual-core civic radiator; holds more water and cools faster than the stock unit. a couple of my friends are running this rad and they dont have any problems with it. I'm personaly running the integra length Koyo in...

Never knew how to do this

Yes thats right, and as a side note, they are the exact same piston found in JDM 89-91 B16A engines. If you want .2 points more compression, go for the JDM P30 B16A pistons (92-00). US never got the P30 piston(s)

    ctr pistons

Yes, they will fit but not directly. You need to have the rods modified at the wrist pin area in order for the CTR piston to fit on the B16 rods. About 1-2mm needs to be shaved off either side of the rod in order for the CTR piston to fit on the rod. If you take the pistons & rods to a...

    Piston question

From what I've learned, its better to NOT run such a domed piston such as the CTR's. Its better to run a flat top domed piston instead, like any ITR or B16A piston(s). The reason is for a cleaner & more consistent combustion/explosion. You'll make just the same power as CTR slugs too, if not...

Ex intake and TB on DX

I'm pretty sure its worthwhile, along with upgrading to an EX tranny as well. You'll probably gain some good torque over the DX manifold. And you can/should reuse your DX injectors, because you'll be reusing your DX ecu. AFIAK, the EX & DX injectors are of same exact spec...

B18c1 swap now wont rev above 3000 rpm

hmm...your car should still rev past 3000rpm even if the 02 & KS is unplugged or not wired in. Perhaps you have the spark plug wires plugged into the wrong ports on the distributor.. compare against this: http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/ignition/distr-cap_1.jpg

1994 US Civic EX - b18c5 conversion questions

another bad-ass radiator for the 92-95 civic is a Koyo radiator. They're really really nice..better than the fluidyne imo. here's an image of it I snapped for JHP: http://www.jhpusa.com/catalog/images/koyo.eg-rad.jpg I believe its thicker than the Fluidyne, and you can mount your stock fan to...
