    Haven't posted pics yet, but this is what I found. The ECU looks exactly the same on the inside as the 96-00 OBD2 Integra Type-R P73 (thanks for the link rabnulb). So it seems it IS a known ECU, with a different code.

    I guess this is possible. I always thought that we had the 1st gen JDM B16A motor + cable trans, until I saw a new car in the showroom with a different block and cable trans.     Thanks for the replies so far. To 96b16vx, no, I'm not on crack. The South African VTECs (we only had the EK series with a VTEC motor) had a B16A6 with cable clutch. Some blocks had a B16A6 stamp, some just read B16A. They were rated at 118kW @ 7800rpm and 160Nm @ 7400rpm. As far as I can tell...
