jiahanhao is right...the pulley is weighted to balance out the vibes. i swapped a b16 into my del sol (may it R.I.P.) and was about to switch out the pulley intill a local swap shop told me about the balancing. i called the local honda dealership to try to buy a "separate" harmonic balancer...

i looked for the jumper to insert the clip and could not find it. i will look again, but it is obd2, does that make a difference?

i know you can pull codes with a paperclip on an obd 1 honda or acura, but how do you do it on a obd2? my friend has a 96 teg special edition that is throwing a check engine light. is it possible to pull a code?

i fixed the problem. it was a worn out wheel hub bearing. if you ever run into this prob, fyi: it is a pain to take apart the suspention, but the bearing was $85 from honda and they wanted to charge 150 for labor. i found the bearing at a parts store for 45, and gt it pressed in for 25. :)

i am about to buy a set. I know a shop in houston that does it for 400, but i figure i can do most of it myself. there is a parts store down the road that presses for cheap, so i can take what i need to press in there. if you decide to do it yourself, let me know how much of a pain in the ass...

i agree..i have these yokies wrapped on my rims and they own! they have awsome water handling, but the down side is you cannot use them in snow! not much snow down here in texas B)

pills, it does not have a mounting place for the Map sensor, it has the vaccum line for the hose to hook up. Now Gt, he sent me the PR3-j51. i was back in december so i cannot remember what the connections looked like.

i know the engine is a second gen B16. It does not have the pgm-fi on the top of the intake manifold, nor map sensor on throttle body. i was just asking because he is claiming that Honda made some Pr3 ecu's that were OBD1. he sent me the p30 and it hooked up fine works good.

Stay away from lightened crankshaft pulleys, they will do nothing but ruin your engine. The crankshaft pulley is also called the "harmonic balancer". it helps balance out the engine....if you put a lightened one on it, all it will do is ruin your engine

I almost bought a new radio lid, but when i took off the console, I noticed that the plastic hinge was just poped out of the joint....you may want to check that out before droping 38 bucks. BTW: my ashtray thing is broken too :(
