For the reason of not having enough fund at the moment, i decided to upgrade the camshafts n valve springs in Christmas. Isnt it popular that people used EK9 pistons in B16A block? or is that something bad to do?

the rest of the cylinders are fine, I'm going to take the head off when i get my replacement car. I had the head fully rebuilt already, new guides, refaced seats etc... hopefully it's just a valve. How about the clearance issue? anyone has any idea? thx.

Hi all I've rebuilt a D16Z6 recently, starts first time, runs fine, but its blowing a little of blue smoke when it's warming up then disappear when reaching certain temp. And also clouds of smoke when I hit the Vtec zone. As I didn't change the valve seals and piston rings, so I'm guessing...

someone told me: It will fit nicely. The only problem will be that your Z1 piston will have a deep dish. This means your compression is gonna SUCK! Like 8.2-8.4:1. is it true?? Terry

Hi everyone question as topic, I had a D16Z6 head and want to put it into my D15Z1 bottom, doesn't it fit/work?? apart from the Z6 ECU, what else do I need?? Also, as far as I know, the D15Z1 piston stroke is different to the Z6, will it hit the values??? many thx. Terry
