My first guess would have been check the fuses, did you check the fuses under the dash board and under the hood? I couldnt see any other reason why they would both go out unless there is a short in the circuit. :unsure:

what year is the accord you are putting the vtec into? I have a 90 accord and I just used the harness from my f22a4 and took it to a shop and had them wire my vtec solenid and pressure switch which is only the real big difference
