    03 Accord - Burning Oil

Update: Turns out there were two oil rings that had seized. Honda replaced all four piston ring sets and intake bypass valve along with head gasket, IM gasket, serpentine belt, some seals etc. For once, a warranty was actually worth the purchase. Honda covered the cost which would've been...

I know, there must be more too it. Honda did an oil change on it this morning, hopefully there is a puddle when I go to pick it up, haha!

    03 Accord - Burning Oil

I had Honda check it this morning and do an oil change and they did not see any visible signs of it leaking. I know, it is a far bit of oil to be strictly burning.

    03 Accord - Burning Oil

Hey guys, Just looking for some feedback/ideas regarding my issue. Over the past few months I've noticed my Accord (03 EX-L, 2.4L) losing/burning more oil than it should i.e. 2L within 1500kms. The first thing I checked was for physical leaks but there is nothing. I've never noticed any blue...

    B18C1 into EK

What ECU are you running? May be the cause of it running lean. Hunting idle sounds like a bad IACV or a vacuum leak and maybe. This also could be in conjunction with the bogging problem. Hope this helps.

K24 from TSX vs K24 from CRV

The mechanics of the head, engine etc are hardly outdated at this point. K20/K24 swaps are now becoming more and more popular to the mainstream, making this info/thread even more relevent. Look at how long the B series motors have been around for. I'd be hard pressed to say "we" know everything...

    tranny in b18c

Do you have a short shifter? I've seen it happen with lower end short shifters where it pops out of gear. If so, it's an easier and cheaper solution than fixing your syncros/tranny.

K24 from TSX vs K24 from CRV

This may be already be common knowledge, but it's a good blurp on the technical differences between the A2 and A3 heads, vtec etc. "The K20A2 in the Type-S works the way you expect VTEC to work. The two camshafts are equipped with three cam lobes and rocker arms for each cylinder's pair of...

    OBD2 / OBD2b

The easiest thing to do is get the same OBD as the shell/harness i.e. OBD2b. You can get an OBD2a motor but it will require the rewiring of a few things. To answer your question, it does matter. Just get an OBD2b motor.

01 Civic - Windsheild washer light

My windsheild washer fluid light came on yesterday and won't go off, and yes I filled it up. The same thing happened in my 99 Accord I was never able to get it off so I ended up just removing the bulb. Any ideas on how to reset it? i.e. pull the fuse etc. Anyone else have this happen?

Need Help With B-16 Swap Into A 97 Ek!!

He is now using the 99 Si harness and ECU, therefore, he won't need the jumper harness. He would only need the jumper harness if he was using the 99 Si harness and his 97 HX ECU. Good luck.

    1999 Civic B18 Swap

The P75 number was used for both OBD1 and OBD2 ECUs. If it doesn't fit, it just means you have the wrong P75 for your harness.

I agree about the lips. Something a little less obtrusive would be cleaner. Other than that, very nice!

    b16b type r swap

He hasn't responded to this thread in a bit. I asked if he was getting the harness with the B16B. I figured this would be the easiest way to tell the difference between OBD2a and OBD2b.
