    rev hard pt2

    Ok heres the problem. (B16a in 89 lx) Fuel pump is not working. if i jump two wires, fuel pump to blk/ylw wire and start the car it revs up with no stop. tHEREs some problem with my wiring but i dont know what. I followed all the instructions from all those wonderful sites but cant figure it out.

    B16a1 Started for the first time but it just revs up and keeps going, so i shut the car off before it hits 7000. Whats going on.

    Im pretty sure your knock sensor only has one leg on it that goes to b19. The shielding needs to be grounded, what you can do is take the shielding and solder it to another wire and run it to a ground point. I dont know if it goes to logical ground but the jdm harness actually has the knock...

    Does anyone know if the knock sensor off the jdm b16a1 is the same as any b series motor, if not then what car can i get one off of. Also any place i can get them cheap, honda wants almost $200. Thank you

    Ok i think i might know where i went wrong with my b16 swap, The wiring in the car. I think i over thought it and screwed up.     Almost did it.

    Ok I turned over the b16 after the swap and nothing. I got spark and fuel is flowing throught the fuel rail. No codes on the ecu. It sputtered like it was going to run for about a second or two, but that was it. Any suggestions?

    Where is the connector for the fuel pump in the car. book said it in the trunk but i dont see it.

    Ok i have a 90 civic lx and putting in jdm b16. I see the jdm is suposed to have purge cutoff solenoid valve and a pressure regulator cut off solenoid valve. My car has the purge cut off solenoid valve. So my question is what am i suposed to do with the wiring, or do i need that pressure cut-off...

    help me

    What I mean to say is that the clutch cable is not hooked up and the release shaft can only come up about an inch so the cable cant slip on. Is that how it is or should that shaft be able to come up more

    help me

    I just put in a new clutch for my jdm b16. Im trying to put back my cable but I cant get the release shaft high enough to put the cable on. Should the shaft be able to move more than an inch. Id hate to have to remove the trans again.

    b16a1 wiring issue

    ON the 4th gen si there should be a wire for the alternator at b5 and at b19 there should be one for the ELD, both are not needed. Now The 85'-87' si didn't have these wires.

    I have decided to scrap the power steering but what do i do. Do i just cut the lines from the pump or just let it dangle? What should I do?

    6p to 8p distributer wiring

    I got a 90 civic and im dropping in a b16. I got all the wiring done except the distributer. My harness has a 6p connector and the distributer has a 8p connector. I need help finding out how to wire in my stock harness to the b16 distributer.
