    Why wouldn't you rev it over 7000 rpms? That's the whole point of getting the vtec head, rev higher and make more power. Build it right and rip it to 8-8.5k rpms and stop being a pussy. The people you know that have had them proly had no clue what they were doing, they just did it to be cool...

    LS/Vtec's are reliable as long as you build it right. I would get a vtec head and build the bottom end. A built LS head will cost more than a stock vtec head... that's an easy choice.

    The LS tranny blows for anything. Longer gears suck period wether your N/A or FI. If you have traction problems get a LSD, staged boost controller, slicks, drag radials, traction bars, solid motor mounts, etc.. The b16 tranny will still get you going 150mph give or take depending on tire size...

    I wouldn't worry about valevtrain until your going for serious numbers and the stock gsr cams work very well with boost. Get your rods/pistons first.

    I'm sure you can bore it out .040, but from what I understand it's not safe to boost stock sleeves if it's bored more than .020 over. If you bored it out .040 you would need custom pistons, which most companys make. Oh and it's .040, not .40 :)

    I don't have any problems with my spark plugs. My car runs pretty rich at part throttle and WOT too according to my plx wideband o2 sensor.
