How do you clear the engine codes on the ECU... Also is there a way to test the Crank angle sensor to see if it is good or not...- volvo 850 glt

on the ECU the light flashes 4 times. what dose this mean. what code is being thrown? 91 crx zc swap. it fires up it runs but the 4 red lights arnt right..... help plz J- volvo 850 glt
