Damn re-sleeving is expensive! I guess if want crazy amounts of boost ya gotta do it. My mustang handles 18 pounds of boost without skipping a heartbeat. Mind you, I don't run down the highway or up the street with a consistent 18 pounds...lol. In the city I sometimes see 6 to 10 tops...
Yeah you can't be leaving the plugs loose that's for sure. However, indexing on Honda motors really isnt' that difficult. You can mark the plug and where the electrode points with a marker. You have to find out which index washer means quarter turn, or half a turn etc....then put the index...
You can't get it with an impact gun? For your alternator, you can try heating up the nut with a propane torch. Keep the flame on it until it's searing hot, then take an impact gun to it. The heat should expand the nut enough to peel it off. The crank pulley bolt, well...i have no other...

only problem i see...is that there's no place to put a tank of propane unless you leave it inside. Now I don't know about you, but I don't want no stinkin' tank inside my car!
All that a longblock is...is a motor built with heads, etc. Shortblock means it's a motor built without heads etc. A long block doesn't necessarily mean it's better than a shortblock. It just means that it's more *complete* than a shortblock.
Yeah I'd be pretty angry if 5 quarters leaked into my trunk! Whenever I remove a motor, I make sure I drain all the fluids! I know you can't get everything, but you can get a majority of the oil that could potentially get everywhere! I have some nice dark oil spots in my garage when I didn't!
I've port polished/matched the intake and exhaust. We'll see what kinda of power it gets when I drop the motor back into the car. Thing is, I need new motor mounts and they're outta inventory here. There aren't any aftermarket ones that I could find. They're bloody expensive from Honda! The...
