If anyone is going to the junkyard soon or has one laying around i would pay good money for one 40 bucks is probably in my budget. + shipping and a little extra for the time of finding it for me. I have been all over around my area and i got nothing.
ECU i need is a PS9 which is out of the...

The USDM D16A1 "Brown Top" was also a DOHC but you cannot as far as i know use the ZC head on the D16A1 USDM block. The bolts don't line up i don't think. Also the motor mounts are in a diffrent place on the integra than the civic if you are putting it in the civic.

I own a 1990 Honda Civic DX Sedan (I have a D16A6 sitting in the garage for it just buiding it up before it gets dropped in.). This car feels really loose when cornering and in general driving conditions. I wanted to beef it up a bit before the swap on a budget but I am not really sure where i...
OBD 0 for a 90 SI Hatch (if it's USDM it's a ED7 not a EF by the way)
You can buy a conversion harness or you can do the wiring yourself. I don't have wiring diagrams or anything for the ZC to give you but ask around someone might have them.

Y8 timing belt i know.
You will get more power out of the Y8 head gasket also aka more compression but be sure to maybe step up on octane on your fuel and have it tuned nicely.
Not sure on the Y8 for ECU the P28 is a popular choice for all around but i think the Y8 is OBD2 so you would need to...
I've always heard that your sposed to use the head's gasket not the blocks when you do a mini-me unless your talking about a Y8 in which case you have more of a option of using one or the other cause the compression gets higher if you use the Y8's. That's a general rule there are exceptions.

There is the tread about the Y8 gear being off. I can't seem to find the thread about turning the camshaft over and using the Y8 gear on the Z6 head.
Also i ment to say 91 instead of 100 my bad.
(to back that statement up that is exactly...
Yeah 12:1 compression isn't really something that's either economical or possible to street drive you will have some mad problems getting rid of detnation also because you will have to run 100 octane to get rid of it.
As i said i would avoid going over 11.1:1 compression for street and even at...
avoid the Y8 vtec head though and if you do use the Y8 get a thicker head gasket than the Y8 one. Also be sure if you get a aftermarket cam gear to ge tthe Y8 one or you will have to adjust the Z6 half a tooth to fix the timing.
If you get the Z6 head and get a aftermarket one and are using...
darkstar racing sells brackets w/ sliders for the Tenzo R seats i think those work with most aftermarket seats you would have to ask them for sure though.

I know im going to get flamed asking about automatic trannies on here but I like having a Auto so kiss my butt.
Which Automatic tranny has the best gearing to handle a D15/Z6 mini-me head swap. And what kinda hp gains am i looking at after this swap anyhow i have heard lots of talk about oh...

Here is a full write up on the swap you where asking about for the 87Integra D16A1 into a 1st gen CRX.
Sounds like it's going to be kinda umm fun hehhe.
Let me know how it goes im thinking about moving to this motor for my 4th gen.

I figured if i could get the D16A1 block to fit i would use the DOHC ZC head to pep it up a bit more. But someone told me that the D16A1 runs on vaccum lines someplace and the 4th gens don't.
