is there a way i can get away from the hondata and run a program that id be able to tune myself ??
ecu doesnt really need a tune just want to disable a few sensors..
and change the rev limiter and vtec engagement point....
ok i got a ef civic with a chipped pr3 with hondata s200.. well i havent ever had to mess with in in a long time until i rescently switched over to a ls vtec from a b16...
well i find that hondata no longer supports these ecus... and i really aint got the money or the want to switch over to...
i got a ls/vtec in my ef civic.. currently attatched to an ls trans... i have a spare ys1 tranny and a s1 jdm b16 tranny that has bad synchros... can i interchange the gears of the 2 trannies to make a quick tranny with a highway gear?
ok i got a real good deal on a gsr ans a 2001 si hydraulic trans. Other than the mount kit how hard is it too put the trans in the car?
And what other parts do i need? linkage wise?
i had a similar problem with my mini me.but i came to find that you have to cut two of the notch ends off the dist. so you can advance it futher. If you dont do this the engine will not start due to the timing being retarded to much. After you cut two of the notch ends off put nice size washers...
im putting a y8 head on my sohc zc and i have heard you have to pull the oil plug out of the middle of the block between the cylinders. is this true on all applications?
