    Type S Pistons, JDM H22 Rods?

    Rebuilding a JDM H22A ~1993. The current pistons have pressed wrist pins holding the pistons to the rod. Purchased Type S pistons which have full floating wrist pins. Do I need to do anything to the rods or can I just remove the old and install the new? Thanks.

    Have a JDM H22A with blown ring lands on #1 and #2 piston. Are JDM pistons the same as USDM pistons?
