    yea I noticed the temp drop again even with the condenser. I guess I'll look for a coolant temp sensor and get a new thermo while I'm at it. One other thing is that the rad came out of a type-r but I was thinking it is identical to a gsr rad but does it have better cooling?

    Thanks for the info about the thermo, I didn't know it worked that way. I actually installed the AC condensor to just to see what happens and it appears to be stabalizing now. I guess the GSR was designed with the AC in mind.

    rather than wasting your time asking questions on whether of not the tranny has a ground. It takes 5 minutes to temporarily ground the tranny and see if it solves your problem. I'm 99% sure that's your problem and yes the tranny is supposed to have a ground wire hooked up according to the helms.

    Oh I see then it's probably different on the sir-g because the evap canister connects to the evap purge solenoid right there on top of the intake mani and the other port on the solenoid goes into the intake mani. My guess is theres a one way valve in that port on the TB?

    losing hp and torque?? It's a B18C VTEC motor. And the reason why I'm putting it into a GSR is because I couldn't find a clean USDM swap around here and this JDM one I bought was a good deal and came with suspension parts etc. And if I'm not mistaken, isn't the equivalent to a GSR a SIR in japan?
